Warped Headers? Or BS?

Has anyone heard of Pacesetter header's gaskets leaking b/c the headers themselves are warped??? I took my car for the third time to the shop that put my headers on today to fix the rattel (Which has gotten worse each time) and tighten the loose header bolts. They called me later to tell me my gaskets were leaking. I was a tad upset, b/c they installed the darn things so you think they'd do it right the first time and I know they didn't soak the gaskets or use the sealant I provided them with, but I went to Summit to buy a set of FelPro gaskets so the stupid things would be fixed. When I dropped off the headers the Store Manager tried to tell me the headers themselves might be warp. Does anyone else call the [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img] here??

Yeah man I agree with you.
I havent ever heard of that.
The gaskets they were using may have gotten messed up because they tightened one side of gasket WAY tight before tightening the other side at all...that could do it.
I use the paper gaskets and didnt do anything to them...just made sure I tightened them correctly and no problems.
I wouldnt worry about the headers being warped.

Dont get felpro. Get GM manifold gaskets. They work perfectly, and they are made of 3 or 4 peices of metal squished together to make it nice and tight.
