I am planning on getting a Borla exhaust system for my f-body and I would like to get a new high flow cat in addition to the exhaust. If I were to get a carsound/magnaflow catalytic converter, would it make the sound of my exhaust higher or lower? Also, what size cat would I need to get? Thanks in advance for any help!

i put a high flow cat on mine and now it sounds almost like an 8! i didnt notice much of a hp increase, and you will probably need a 2 1/2in cat unless you are gettin 3in. pipes on your exhaust2000 Navy Blue T-top Camaro A4
TSP Rumbler
Carsound Hi-flo Cat
!MAF screen
Whisper lid
HPP3

louder sound for sure. probly deeper as well. bigger cat's will flow more for top-end and make it louder. If u have an automatic, don't worry about the low-end loss of power. once u get a higher stall TC, u won't need that part of the powerband neways.2001 Arctic White Firebird
More mods than I\'m allowed to list!
