Im getting a ram air hood before December. Im thinking about getting the actual ram air intake bow to boot. I dont know if its worth it. I know how it works and i dont see how it could add a noticable diffrence up untill at least 70mph. But, i was wondering about some of you who have bought this for you firebird. How did it turn out? Is it worth $150??

i think he's saying that it would be an additional $150 for the functional ram air box that goes with the hood. I don't know that you'll see any huge gains with the functional hood. You have to figure if the minimal gains you'll see at the top-end are going to be worth $150 to you. Also, make sure the kit is made well enough that no water will enter the intake when driving in the rain, etc...1997 Y87 Camaro with a motor and some stuff.Comment

I looked at my friends TA WS6 ram air yester day to see how it was set up (stock that is)

what hood are you getting and from where?
Most hoods you buy are already functional
