Im getting a ram air hood before December. Im thinking about getting the actual ram air intake bow to boot. I dont know if its worth it. I know how it works and i dont see how it could add a noticable diffrence up untill at least 70mph. But, i was wondering about some of you who have bought this for you firebird. How did it turn out? Is it worth $150??

i think he's saying that it would be an additional $150 for the functional ram air box that goes with the hood. I don't know that you'll see any huge gains with the functional hood. You have to figure if the minimal gains you'll see at the top-end are going to be worth $150 to you. Also, make sure the kit is made well enough that no water will enter the intake when driving in the rain, etc...1997 Y87 Camaro with a motor and some stuff.

I met someone who turned his TA into a WS6, along with the ram air hood he just bought the larger WS6 airbox base to lift it up, I think the V6 and V8 have different size boxes but that is all I can gather from your post.~chris~ 98 Cayenne red Camaro 3800 A4, 3:08, T tops Borla cat-back, wisper lid K&N, Bilstine shocks, Dunlops all around.
AOL IM: chevyboyz24

I looked at my friends TA WS6 ram air yester day to see how it was set up (stock that is)
The only difference is the TA has the airbox raised up about 2" that's it. Hope that helps a little if not, sorry guysMike
www.my99firebird.gq.nu
