  • Rubber gromet found on Whisper lid.... where can I get another one

When I was installing my whisper lid it dropped somewhere between the headlight motor and hell. I havent been able to find it yet and im sure its gone since its been a week or so. Ne ways am I doomed to have the IAT hole in the lid covered with the SLP IAT taped to the side of my air box forever or can I get this gromet from somewhere locally????? well you could get a resistor and plug it into your IAT sensor and you'll never need to use it again. However I've heard mixed opinions on this. Plus I've tested it on the track and I've lost .1sec everytime (tested multiple times on different days)

I think the part number for that is found on Install University Just look under the Whisperlid Section. Had to get one for my lid from the dealer. I think it was around 2-3 bucks. Hopes this helps.

thx for the info, did you get it from the dealer of the whisper lid or a GM car dealership. I hope I don have to order that **** because it takes forever especially with a cheapie part.

I have the SLP air temp module it doesnt actually take readings so im fine for now but I dont like the sensor and I want to try my stock one again. Plus the yellow tape that is holding it to he air box is not very flattering at the track.

I got it at the GM dealership. They had to order it and it came the next day.
