Hello all. Ive started noticing that rotten egg smell which Im pretty sure is my catalytic converter starting to get worn and plugged. Cars performance seems about the same, maybe a tad more sluggish. Anyways im wondering what to do from here. I am looking for of course more power. Should I hollow out the converter thats there, or replace it with a low restriction converter? My setup is listed in my signature. Thanks as always for the advice.

Well the decision is ultimitely up to you..Personally, I'd go for the new high flow cat..
I think if if you hollow your current one out or do away with a cat completely, you'll have to buy O2 Sims to replace the O2 Sensors...and that's more money right there...although i think that O2 sims are only about $30-$50 depending on where you get them.1997 Camaro RS A4
3.08 Rear
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/470169
Mods:
SLP Cold Air Intake
Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler
MSD Ignition Coils
Soon to be installed:
3.42 Gears
MSD Plug Wires

in my opinion get a hi-flow, if you dont have headers. i have headers and no cat...ITS TOO LOUD! so im gonna probably buy a carsound cat or something, i had a catco, but it melted under the heat after i installed the headers, so i cant really recomend them.later,
alan
1999 bright red v6
3800 series III
208\\210 comp cam
3000 stall edge tc
