  • Upper and Lower Intakes from 2000 on a 1997??

Will the upper and lower intake manifolds from a 2000 engine fit on a 97? As for the throttle body, could you just attach it to the new manifold and it would no longer be angled?? Are the bolt locations the same? Could you hook up the cable assembly correctly with the throttle body no longer being angled?? Please need help quick, very interested in doing this!!

The two manaifolds are pretty different from each other. The biggest difference being the TB which canot be interchanged. You can motify the manaifolds yourself by porting them and ploishing them with a dremal, or having somebody eles do it.

Ok, well back to my original question, will they bolt up correctly to the heads and such much like my manifolds do and could I connect my throttle body to the new intake manifold (would go on straight now) and rehook the cable. I would prefer not to waste $$ on new intakes if they are not going to fit. Please post some answers as the sooner I find out for sure the better, thanks again. (I'll worry about porting later, just wanna make sure they'll fit before I buy them)

The lower half will work fine, but the upper half will not.
