OZ I forgot to ask you... does the granelli lid use the "dryer" hose to connect to the TB? Or does it go strait into it kinda like the pics I have seen of the whisper deal?
Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

3 inch pipe to throttle body. Has a cut-out for the sensor(i hear some don't). Extremely easy install. I don't know if you will notice any gains without the cold air intake tho. I did both at the same time. Just get one already! Keep watching the for sale board or post in the "wanted" section. Not many G2's in there but whisper lids and SLP intakes are real common.

OZ I bought a K&N filter charger, and it made enough difference that I wonder if the lid will do any good at this point?

(my air filter was dirty so I bought the K&N since it needed replacing anyways)

What I did not realize was that the K&N filter comes with that rectangular sealer. If I get the G. lid we were talking about where or how do I get another rubber seal? Do I have to buy another filter?
Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

Not the Lid, the CAI!
The lid is just a lid. The CAI has the seals. Good thread going right now about CAI and water/rain, you should check it out.
If you are seat of the pants sensitive enough to notice a difference with just a filter, wait till you get the cold air intake on!
I did'nt notice anything until my jet chip. Then it all seemed to come together. Can't wait to put on a new exhaust!
