    3.8L + no muffler =

    sounds like *** ...

    3.4L is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better sounding...

    but on a lighter note its alot quieter then a 3.4L and it almost sounds like it does have a muffler on it just a really really really crappy one...

    So it's not gonna sound anything like THIS ? (my open manifold 3.4 w/crappy microphone)

    In my new place I dare not fire up the 3800 w/o mufflers, or at least exhaust pipes :( :( :(

        yep....

        so far I could have done all my mods with $3.49 worth of tools. (excluding repairs)


        and 3.4 slot go, I don't have any speakers here on campus, but I miss the sound of my 3.4L thing was deep and sounded lopey... likely do to the exhaust leak. Best was open y-pipe, was slow but sounded awesome [img]smile.gif[/img]
