  • making egr plates

    zzp plates were $10 and 7 shipping so i am going to make my own.

    intake hole...
    just going to cut some sort of metal,(not sure what i have laying around) and
    i guess i'll get some sort of gasket paper, and seal it with some jbweld..

    what about the header hole? is it ok just to hack it off and weld it up on ceramic coated headers? or should i make a plate for that 2..

    see anything wrong with this plan?

    maybe instead of welding the headers, i can leave the tube from the headers to the solenoid there take the solenoid off and seal it there..that would leave hot exhaust in the tube all the time, might be too hot if its not moving,
