I currently live in Michigan, and will be heading out to Utah for college. In Michigan, rain is slightly an issue, but in both places, snow is the main issue. Of the various intake kits out there, what kind will be best for me if I want it to work in the snow and in the dry air of Utah? Thanks.
What college you going too? I will be attending college here in the fall. I live in utah. There is nothing to do.
Dont worry about the snow too much, its not really going to play a big role in which intake you choose. I have a whisper lid holley powershot air filter and the under air box ram air that I made myself. Works just fine.
Oh, and to anyone out there. Where is the best place to find the intake supplies, and what are they exactly? I need a Cold Air Intake/Ram Air Kit and a whisper lid? Is that all? Thanks.
I complete free flowing intake for you car would be something like, WHISPER LID$130, K&N OR HOLLEY FILTER $40, Super Suckers Ram air$229, FTRA$170 or SLP$130. This would be the best intake you could buy. Start with the whisper lid but eventally get all of them.
