should i be getting better or worse gas mileage with the cut out open? just wondering guys...thanks

depends on if you drive full throttle or not.
cutouts are really for full throttle only
ultimately its probably going to worsen your gas mileage.
our v6s need more backpressure than v8s
(not like it matters)
you want a good high flowing/ high velocity exhaust
what kinda exhaust do you have now? hooker headers only?
your stock catalytic convertor and stock muffler makes a little backpressure
(so do your U-bends)

dont worry about the gas mileage, hopefully someone not a complete idiot will chime in...

ive got magnaflow cat back, and most of the time i drive really easy on it bc it gets loud to the point that i cant hear my music in my car, and it just gets annoying. so with the headers and cat back it flows pretty good. ive got an aftermarket cat on it too...
