  • Magnaflow Cat-Back Owners.....

This is to the people that have this system on their car...

    2.5" Magnaflow

Search Results weren't that helpful with description. How come that cat-back looks like that? Why couldn't their be outlets on both sides?

Well anyway, how was fitment, quality, and sound? Was it helpful performance-wise?

    Thank you
    -Derek-

I love my magnaflow catback. Install was really easy, they had it bent perfectly and everything fell into place nicely.

The sound is nice for a v6 as well. I have had many comments on how it sounds like a v8 almost at idle. When the RPMs are high, there is always gonna be some rasp, but I think the magnaflow has the least rasp of the brands I have heard compared to the soundclips I have heard from others.

You also can't go wrong for the price of it, after all it is all stainless steel and looks great.

I like mine.. I went 3" with it.. but.. it sounds good IMO.. alot better then my edelbrock..

and it has the best "crusing speed" sound i have ever heard.. the flows or edelbrock have a tendancy to have alot of dorning/resonance in those bands and well.. really get irritating..

bet exhaust IMO.. and flows great.. becuase its basicly 2 glasspacks stuffed into a muffler.. no barriers..

I have a had the Magnaflow Cat back on my car since holloween. I love it! Nothing looks better then having 2 3-1/2inch tale pipes coming out the back. At idle it does sound like a V8 witch is always nice. I will agree it does get alittle raspy up in the Rpm's but every V6 exhaust has that. And its not that bad after u let it brake in like a month or so. As for performance i did feel a good gain. I do have the SLP intake so that helps too. And when u hammer on it, it get loud! i let one of my buddys drive it around in the parking lot and it sounded really good. I would say go with the Magnaflow. Its worth the money
