• Just Installed Dynomax

I just installed my Dynomax 2.5 in dual 2.5 out with 3" stainless tips (from summit) I still have the stock I Pipe and Cat.

There is a noticable difference from stock. But it's not that loud. It's got a nice rumble and no rice at all (at any RPMs) even when the car is not under load. It does sound a bit muffled but I plan on going to a 2.75 I pipe and I have a Catco waiting to be installed. As for performance, maybe I'm dreaming but I think there is a differnce that I can actually feel.

One thing is the smell - like plastic burning - is this normal before it breaks in?

I'll get a soundclip after I do the rest of the exhaust.

    I definetly recommend DYNOMAX!!

When you get the highflow cat installed, you will notice a deeper rumble at idle.

all the replies above are correct and yes Dynomax sounds great, but since I converted from that to Flowmasters, I'll never go back. Anyways, enjoy your new muffler!

oh btw, the 2.75" I-pipe won't alter the sound significantly at all...trust me. :( (at least not for dynomax)
