They neglected to add the cost of a MAFT (nor tell you) now that they screwed up the throat cross-sectional area for the calibration of the MAF.

and they only work on 99+ your 97 has a cable operated throttle body blade where the 99+ is electronic. Dont waste your money.

Since when did '97s have straight TBs?

But the pics do show cable-operated throttles, not electronic

On a 97 the throttle body isn't bent, the neck of the intake manifold is. They do make on for the 97, click on the year application scroll button thing. Check the page BEFORE you post a reply.

YOu should search before purchasing. I know alot of people have bad tuning issues when running a ported TB.

Any of those running a ZZP TB, or a home ported job? I am not claiming the ZZP one is great(I don't know), but it sounds like you are claiming the ZZP one isn't worth anything.

From what I know, the GTP TB has had good results, I haven't really paid attention enough to know about any of the GT guys.

I'd rather see if i could get one from ram Air technologies or wait for the LS1 conversion kit to come out.

HAHA, you would rather spend $300 more for the RAT one, and you may or may not get it? Their customer service is terrible. They were pretty much run out of the GTP aftermarket because people had so many issues with them.

Not really a flame, but why would you want an LS1 TB? That thing is alot bigger than an L36, unless you have a blower or something. I don't see it being all that beneficial to a NA car.

LS1 kit for the l36, did zooomer say they were going to release one?

Why do people continue to want a larger TB? The stock one is HUGE! Has ANYONE read (or understood) the TB analysis is the Technical Database?

People trash ricer coffe can exhausts, and at the same time want a coffee can TB!

I think the only reason for one would be a supercharged (GTP) application, or I have been told to port the TB and upper intake when using nitrous (wet kit) to keep everything flowing and avoid backfires. Thats the only reason I can see for one.

FYI, some of these guys are using them on their GPGT's(L36). Just a quick search at clubgp. Its just some of their opinions.
