  • Air Temperature Module

I just ordered one, however I am not 100% sure what it does and/or what gains to expect.

    Anyone shed some light?

None, if any you might lose performance, especially in cooler weather. Basically you are overpaying for a 2 cent resistor that tricks the car to think the outside air temp is lower then it is durring the summer, thus increasing the timing slightly, only problem is, you may have knock, then the car will retard the timing more then what it really should be and you just end up losing performance. In the winter months you might trick your car to think you have a higher temp the outside air!!! Which is denfinitly not what you want, because you are losing performance at this point for sure, becuase the timing could be advanced futher, but it thinks its a little warmer outside then it really is, so it won't. This is just my take on what people have said and thought about the air temp module over the last year.

If anyone out there thinks that it actually improves performance I would like to see some numbers and the conditions at the time.
