  • Replacing TPS - ?

Question ... If the TPS is dead or on the verge of death, what kinds of problems would I have? The car is 11 years old and probably still using the stock TPS. Should I replace this?

I have some problems accelerating, especially at takeoff, I notice alot of hesitation.

    Just a thought..

The hesitation can be cause by the tps it isn't very expensive so you should try and see if that is the problem.

Ok thanks.. I'll give it a try.

On another note, what would you suggest could cause my car to "bog down" in passing gear? The car seems to have 0 power/torque in passing gear. Although It will slowly increase in speed.

      Thanks.
