im getting a TA(like) hood for my v6 camaro and i want to make it functional. does anyone know of a company that makes an intake box that fits to give the hood ram-air capability

are you talking about the warbird hood?
the best intake i can think of for a true ram air is volant. my raptor hood is getting shipped tomorrow and as soon as i get it installed im going to order the volant intake.
