I know this subject has been mentioned on and off for a while but I am not sure if anyone ever made any or tried to. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am putting a 3.4L in my 87 Firebird.

    www.rksport.com

I also hear that Pacesetter makes a set. Not sure where to find those.

I forgot. If you get RKSPORT headers get them from www.tbyrne.com I think RKSPORT headers for the 3.8 suck not sure about 3.4 If I were you I would look into pacesetter. Much cheaper and people seem to like them around here.

Ok, thanks for the info. I checked out tbyrne.com and found the info. My question is will the headers for a 4th gen car work with a 3rd gen car. The 3.4L will be installed in a 87' Firebird. Also, where can I find info on the Pacesetters?
        Thanks again,
        Jim

          Try:

          http://www.jcwhitney.com/item.jhtml?ITEMID=18035

for the pacesetter headers.I don't know exactly how the fit will be in the car.I do know that the 3.4 headers will work on a 3.1 but you have to bend one side of the headers up a little to clear some bar that the 3.1 equipped car has.Good luck.

the rksport headers should work fine in your car.
as for the pacesetters. they are on major backorder rite now. or so ive heard from many people that have tried to order them, including tiago.

the RKSport ones work just fine provided that the right connections are made. slight modifications may be needed to make sure the connections are tight. o yea - one other thing. if you live in CA or any other smog state, the headers DO NOT have provisions for the AIR system if you have it. while most of us will be like, ok no big deal - if you dont have your AIR system and the car came with it, you wont pass smog.

only concern yourself with this fact if you live in a state that does smog checks...
