Ok I noticed that the air intake for my 97 camaro is behind the driver side headlight... my question is this.. I have headlight covers and i'm curious if they are blocking a substantial amount of air into the intake and even more so when I get my cold air intake, should I take them of to increase flow?... Need help.

the air is coming up from underneat your car. if you look under it, right before the tire. you'll see an opening with slashes going the opposite way of wind. thats so water can't readily get up there. with an aftermarket CAI, the filters will sit right above that.\'96 Quasar Blue Firebird A4
jamiethekiller@comcast.net
my band: woodland

ya, even if water does get up there it's not going to be that big of a deal. it takes quite a large amount of water into the engine to screw it up and i don't think 2 k & n filters from the slp cai can suck up enough water to do that unless you sat them in a bucket. but normal everyrainyday driving you might notice them to both be damp a little--cause you hit bumps and puddles and go in reverse all the time and water easily can splash up underneath there.
