  • How heavy is our exhaust???

I've been wondering for a while, having bigger pipes on my car means more metal whick means more weight. me being a psycho nut about weight, power, ect., how much does titanium piping cost, and can I get it custom mandrel bent for my car? another reason i want it lighter is because to keep it from clunking on the rear end, i had the hanger shortened, so now my right side tips are a bit higher then the left, and it kinda sucks to look at, and may interfere w/ a body kit in the future.

Sorry, I don't know the exact weight.
I have heard that switching to the slp loudmouth resonator vs a stock style set up you can reduce weight by 25 +- pounds.

yeah, I heard that it's lighter also, cuz a muffler is really heavy compared to a resonator.

get whatever flows on your car a difference of abotu 15 lbs. is not goung to make up the difference of what type of metal you use.

I just yanked my entire I-pipe, CAT, muffler and tips, and noticed no difference in performance.

I had a muffler hooked ot the y-pipe and its been there before and after I did took off the catback, so the exhaust flow stayed the same but theweight of the exhasut is different.

            Titanium costs lots of $$$.
Titanium is a b*tch to work with.

At the flight lab where I work there's always a lot of cursing involved when we have to deal with titanium.
