The magnaflow direct-fit cat PN-23466 has the "Y" pipe & the "S" pipe with it, is this a high flow or just a replacement?

it most likely is a high flow cat because it is not leagle in california. it says it is obdII approved (which most high flo cats are still approved) but it is not quite OEM so it says "Except California..."

that must be a pricey rig. if you need the y pipe and s pipe along with the cat maybe compare prices for a y pipe at www.gmpartsdirect.com

a normal 3x3 carsound cat will fit on a stock y pipe after the stock cat is cut off the y pipe. from there a 3 inch s pipe can be bought or made and then reducers used to downsize to whatever your remaining exhaust diameter is. this is most affordable option....unless you do need a y pipe to begin with. it will be kinda pricey either way if you do.
