What series muffler is used in the 3" american thunder cat-back exhaust for ls1's? also, will this weld up to the cat-converter w/o messing w/ the exhaust itself? I'd also like to know if anyone got this exhaust and how they like it compared to stock?

i don't have that exact one. i have a 96, and i got the 94 LT1 version because it was single cat where as i think they are dual cat now. i'm not sure about the LS1's though. its an 80 series muffer. they had to put a high flow cat on my car because of welding a 3" pipe to a 2.25 right at the cat. which is fine with me becauase i would of gotten a high flow cat anyway. they had to put in a bung for the 02 sensor, too. and other small work.\'96 <b>Quasar Blue</b> Firebird A4<br /><a href=\"http://jamiethekiller@comcast.net\" target=\"_blank\"><i>jamiethekiller@comcast.net</i></a><br /><a href=\"http://www.woodlandrock.com\" target=\"_blank\">my band: woodland</a> -
