My tailpipes are horribly rusty on the inside, and each time I use a drummel with the wire bristle attachment, it rusts back up in a few days. What can I do so that the inside of my tailpipes are black or shiny? Help! [img]graemlins/crybaby.gif[/img]
That's the result of cheap metal. What you need is something new that doesn't rust as easly. My old car had that problem. I didn't replace the tips I just sprayed the inside with rust-o-leum everytime it started to look rusty again. You can do either if you want.

Get you some high temp paint and paint them. That is what i did to my whole exhaust just painted it silver and looks mucho better...
