Do you already have all the pipes and stuff? Cuz man I can't even get a shop down here to put my flowmaster catback on let alone custom make it. I have a cutout that I could've put on my system, but the flowmaster is so loud already why would you need a cutout? Thats the way I look at it.
This shop kicks *** - I know the owner and the mechanic -- they take care of me. Bend their own pipes, they'll hollow out my cat for me if I want, weld in a straight pipe instead of a cat, etc etc.

Thats the thing - I dont care about how it sounds- it'd be for performance only. Does it help enough to pay for it OR is it not worth it? I've heard it doesn't do crap and I've heard it helps top end a BUNCH.

Anyways, I just got my estimate w/o the cutout and its going to be about ~250 bucks for all the stainless steel pipes to be custom bent, installed, the Flowmaster 80 Series, hangers, labor, etc etc. I figure not much more if I supply the cutout

Sounds like a great price. I have a 2.75in i-pipe with 3in tailpipes and it sounds mean. You don't lose torque, it just doesn't really spin the tires good till about 15 mph now( once the rpm is about 3300 or so).
