Do you mean the IAT sensor? It's best to put it as far away from the intake as possible (like where you think it would be as cool as possible) if there is a hole already there it doesn't have to be in there very firm. On my ram air it's just hanging in there because all the sealant I use claims it's high temperature and it's really not and ends up just burning off. As long as it's in there to read a temperature I suppose it should be ok. If not someone please correct me on this.

Well i installed everything and put the Iat sensor in there. Its tight but not air tight. i guess it doesnt matter because i was running my car today afterwords and there was no ses light. I can hear the swooshing. I dont think my car has fully ajusted to the intake but it runs a different hard to explain. I resetted the computer and took it on the highway to let it get use to all the extra air.\"DRive it like you sTole it\"<br />RIP<br />Black 97 Camaro RS A4 (Y87)<br />3.42 LSD, Flowmaster exhaust(3in),<br />Slp Cold air intake Stage3 weight reduction (removed spare and jack)<br />\"Now a question of ettiquite, do I give you the *** <br />or the crotch?\" <br />~Tyler~ (FC)<br />!!!!NEW Ride Silver!!!! 03 WRX \"stock\"
