does this price sound right??

hey everyone,im new to the boards and i thought i would say hi to everyone,i have a 95 3.4 camaro,the previous owner had what appears to be a flowmastr catback installed and this past friday the passenger side pipe from the muffler and tip rusted off,i called a local shop and they quoted me at 114 for the both side tail pipes and 2 truck style chrome tips,does this sound right or too expensive????

Unless the tips cost 40 bucks each, that's way too expensive! You should go to that shop and smack the guy.

Shouldn't cost more than about 40-50 plus tips.

theyre the big chrome tips they use on trucks,theyre either 3.5 or 4 inch slash cut,i thought that price sounded kinda high,but he was the average price out of a few more shops i called too

that sounds high. Is any other parts on your Exhaust rusted? if so you might want to think about replacing it and it will save you money from future Exhaust fixes

That is kind of high for tips. Was he going to weld them on for you to? I bought some 4" slash cut echo tips and they only cost me $75 for the pair.
