Hey, so I've heard great things about the Edelbrock catback, and it'd pretty cheap... but I was wondering which part number I need, like, do I buy the one for the LS1's, or the one for the 93-97 V6's and just make it fit... also, what tips should I get that would look good on a '98 Firebird? Any pics or sound clips would be great too.
I'm also open to opinions on other systems as well, thanks

well, sorry to say, this post will probably be the one bad feedback on edelbrock, but im gettin a little unsatisfied with mine. first-off, where the overaxle pipe connects into the muffler, its become loose and now i bought a new flowmaster muffler. the sound was good for a few months, but now seems very ricy at high rpm. and every pipe connection leaks so if you do get this cat-back, or any cat-back, i recommend you get the pipes welded, look into a different muffler for future problems, and buy some tips cuz the turn-downs look like sh*t. but you could always change your mind on a cat-back (which i would recommend). so now after its all installed, which has yet to happen, ill have pacesetter headers (yet to arrive), magnaflow catylitic converter, edelbrock cat-back, flowmaster muffler, and 18" angled and rolled tips off ebay. my exhaust is going to be a very extensive one and just because of leaks and manufacturer defect muffler. i dunno but just my .02, go with something else for a little more.
