what should i do about putting a cut out in?! im gonna get a new high flow cat installed because the on i have now, the internals are breaking loose.
should i put the cut out before the cat, after the cat... or should i not even bother.
will it draw enough attention to get me a ticket?
put it after the cat, in the i-pipe right before the overaxle pipe. there is a picture of it on my website below. it might get you a ticket if you get annoying with it. i only use mine at tracks/dyno/showing somebody.
i actually just got the cut out installed today...sounds rediculous, i'm not entirely sure but i dont think it adds anything through the lower rpm's because of the back pressure, but when you get on it it feels a little stronger. 8hp may be a reasonable number, its not a very noticable gain, but it sounds amazing

It depends, not every car makes more power with a cutout, some just make noise.
