  • SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust?

Does anybody know how this would sound on my Camaro? I think it's time for me to get an exhaust system. The SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust is the one I'm thinking about. I've read on this board that SLP's system's are some of the better one's for our cars, is this true? Also, about how loud is it?

If you've heard it, what would you give it for loudness and sound quality? 1-10, 1 being not so good and quiet, and 10 being good quality sound and loud.

How would this sound with a cam? I'm think about getting one next summer. Would it be loud?

    Thanks for any help.

Yes I already did a search and I didn't find what I was looking for.

    What I want.

Its a very mild sound, slightly rumbly, quiet IMO, and not worth the price.

Combined with headers, it makes for a lovely system.
Otherwise, it is a little on the quiet side. However it does still outperforms the stocker in sound and power... it's just when people spend a lot of money on an exhaust system, they expect to fire it up and hear the roar of a different car... w/o headers, you're not going to be completely satisified if you're looking for a 180 difference. It will open the sound up at higher RPMs though, just to maybe 120 degree differnece instead.

And yes, there were plenty of posts regading this (I had the system on my old '02 V6) you just needed to search more under "SS" exhaust since it was usually labeled that being the stock SS exhaust system...

A way to make the exhaust system a little more desirable over the others is to try to find it used. (the whole system) then it might really make it worth it (being it is still all stainless steel and large tubing)
