is it possible that if you had those tips on another muffler you would have about the same sound as their 700.00 muffler? i know when i took my triflow tips off it sounded like crap but with tips sounded deep. what comes with that gmmg muffler? does any pipe come with it like i pipe and over axle pipe?

Lol, it has nothing to do with the tips that make the sound from the GMMG exhaust. It's the fact that it lacks a muffler, and instead uses the chambered pipes as the only method of sound reduction.

I'm pretty sure that it has nothing to do with that except for the fact that they only want GMMG owners with those tips.

And it has true dual chambered mufflers, just for clarification.

Thats cool about the true dual chambered mufflers but it still isnt true dual exhaust because you have a y pipe. I will probably eventually buy it i know it combined with my custom longtubes will sound bad a** im sure the cam will help the sound a tad :D I hope the gmmg gives atleast the same hp numbers as triflow. keep me posted

On the LS1's it dynoed i think around .7 more HP/TQ than the Triflow, so you're definitely getting your money's worth.

It is wicked with the CIA headers!!! :D

Longtubes should help that sound reallyyyyyy awesome.....have you gotten them yet?

Someone should run a true dual setup with the GMMG Exhaust. Just cut off the single connector, take off your y-pipe, and run pipes down and connect them individually to each chamber on the GMMG. I think that'd be tight.
