  • what is the best exhaust for me?

OK i have a 95 3.8 firebird with a flowmaster 40 sires cat back with a magnaflow high flow cat. its loud I love it being loud but its not deep and I want loud and deep. So what is the best cat back for me out of the: edelbrock rpm cat back, hooker cat back, or the magnaflow cat back? what is the deepest set up? please tell me what you have and how u like it. also I will have a highflow cat and headers on when i change. please put your input thanks brian

3 inch piping will make it sound noticibly deeper.

i had the stock 2 1/4 and ran it open without a muffler, it sounded like a ricer.

but when i switched to the 3 in highflow cat and 3 in s pipe it made a huge difference in sound. much more throaty.

i run the loud mouth set up and i love it. its loud and deep, but does rasp as any v6 will up top. so do more than others.

i think if you like it loud the loudmouth or tsp rumbler are you best bet, as well as the most free flowing.

            Has anyone used this

Muffler, Camaro/Firebird "Loud Mouth II" Bullet-Type

            http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=31067

I was thinking of installing it where the stock muffler is and redoing the output pipe to something more sleeker. For 99$ + shipping its not a bad deal.

I have a magnaflow muffler which uses my stock pipes with a catco high flow cat and mid-tube pacesetters. With the headers my car actually sounds pretty good.

But do you guys think I should replace the pipes to 3"? Cause my stocks are 2.5" correct? And if I do that it will for sure make my car sound more deep, loud and throaty right?
