That does not fit. If you look closely at the picture and have your TB off or a gasket in hand you will see that (ours vs FWD cars) coolant channel in the TB is shaped differently.

So, it is a rubber plug....Take off TB. Fill the TB's coolant channel with RTV blue...tamp it in good with head of a nail. clean up the endges. Let it cure good for 24 hours. (it is a big gob of goo so make sure and let it cure fully) VOILA! No more coolant in the TB because the cavity is already full of RTV blue silicon.

Question: How does blocking coolant keep the TB cooler?

Because the coolant is at 180*+ and without it, your throttle body would be closer to the 80* air being pulled through it.. coolant _heats_ your tb.

(The coolant is there to keep the tb from icing up in cold weather)

So...considering that a TB spacer works...if i am going in there to install the TB spacer, isn't it worth my time to plug up that whole when i am in there anyways, or just a waist of time?

If you're going in there to install a tb spacer, the spacer will keep coolant from getting in the tb. For the money, the tb spacer is one of the best mods you can do. I got an extra 2-3 miles per gallon after i installed mine.
