• 3.4 - replace cat with pipe or just new cat

My catcos pretty much toast by now and was considering putting a straight pipe in replace of the cat. I don't have headers so I figured I would gain more than lose. However, I wondered if it would be better to just put a new cat there instead. Any suggestions?

straight pipe is very loud but it is also alot cheaper if you do it yourself alot of exhaust shops wont do it but if you find someone
