• EGR Leak Fix write up, possible sticky?

    http://www.dmwacoustics.com/camaro/EGR.html

Maybe if the moderators could help me edit it and make it better or add/delete things to it, it could be a good reference for people with EGR leaks! Also, thanks to 98Camaro3.8 for helping me a little with this write-up.

    what do you guys think?

Wow, your guys' pacesetters have a ID plate on them? Weird.

Looks good. Only thing I would mention is that if you get a $5 blockoff plate for the manifold, you don't need $80 worth of plates and simulators. Just leave the valve in place and let it suck in fresh air. Maybe just throw on a cheap filter to keep it clean.

Its really to bad that the guy who designed the pacesetters left the company. He was interested in doing turbo headers. Really cool guy.

I dunno kinda still leaks a tiny bit, but it still doesnt look like the top of the EGR tube is flush with each other. Maybe i need a new EGR lol. Need like a huge clamp to just close that top together

not as much as without it but its still there just enough for me not to be satisfied cuz i know it can get better cuz if the RTV can get it better for atleast a week or whatever this can work too.
