Should I get the headers first or the borla cat-back first. I still have an entirely stock exhaust system. Also catalytic converter or not.
I have a 2001 3.8 w/ the tubular exhaust manifolds. The manifolds really show a difference when I race the f-bodies with the earlier model manifolds.

lol. this is just my opinion, but you could get headers by pacesetter, a highflow cat ,custom S pipe and larger I piper all for the price of a borla cat back...
but nobody listens to me so im most likely talking to myself...

Or you could do like me and do a 2.5" Borla cat back. For $300 with everything made by the muffler shop and the y pipe custom made. Then get the headers all for $500. The only real expensive thing about Borla is the tips. They run around $100 a piece.
Mine sounds really good needs a cat though so I would recommend that.

I have a 3.4 w/ borla, but I say go with the borla. Check my sig for my exhaust setup. Even without headers, it sounds as good as I think it can sound. Headers would prob make it a little louder, but I like it the way it is for now.
Tip: Do like I did, try to find a used or even new borla rear section kit, and then pick up a I pipe from an LT-1 or LS-1 guy. This will save you hundreds of dollars. Borla is pricey, but it doesnt have to be. Go with a catco high flow cat as well, for $60, you cant go wrong. This also make your exhaust tone deeper.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
