I just put on my 80 series Flowmaster. How long does it take for the muffler to sound deeper?

Well, my Flowmaster took about 3 months to fully burn in.

What size inlet/outlet muffler did you get? And did you change the I-pipe too or just the muffler?

Your next step will probably be to change the i-pipe to a larger diameter & replace the stock cat converter w/ a high-flow cat. The less restrictive the exhuast is, the deeper the exhuast note becomes.

It is the pipe that exits the muffler into the Cat Converter

Other way around. The "-pipe" (intermediate pipe) is the piping that runs from the catalytic converter back to the muffler.
