exhaust ypipe question

Im thinking about buying some headers off one of the guys on the boards and it doesnt come with the y pipe. Could i use my stock one or do you think i could custom make one? because i have a pipe bender at work and could easily have one of the techs give me a hand putting one together. Is this a good idea?

95 black 3.8 camaro, Intake, Pacesetters, Flowmaster 80 series, accel plugs and wires, B&M shift kit (eh could be better), hopefully a highflow cat soon. and a bunch of appearance mods.

factory will not work but you can always go custom. just remember to weld in bungs for your o2 sensors
