I want to get rid of that MF'n EGR valve but I don't know what I can do do to keep the computer from throwing a code. whats avaiable for us 3.4 guys in this area?

I just made a plate to go between the tube that sends the exhaust gas back into the intake manifold and the intake manifold itself. I used the gasket as a template and then cut a thin piece of steel with a dremel tool to make it. well I had a hell of a time getting the gasket to stay in place long enough to put the valve back on. hats why I want to get rid of it so I can work in there. I would keep it so I can pass inspection when the time comes but it would be off the rest of the time.
