TB Porting/Exhaust Manifolds

I just got the Raptor hood from Suncoast Creations with the airbox assembly, I love it. It sounds great. I am going to get my throttle body ported, but I have a question. Would it be better to ship it off, or have someone local do it? For the throttle body, I would imagine it would not make as much of a difference as the heads, where they have to test many designs. But I don't know.
Second, has anybody taken a look at the modified stock exhaust manifolds offered by ZZP? What do you think comparing those to headers? Here's the link:

Rather than getting the ported exhaust manifolds, it would be cheaper just to get the new Pacesetter headers. ;)
