  • 3 wire O2

ok, so i think i remember reading somewhere that a one wire O2 sometimes has trouble with hi flow exhaust setups cause htey dont heat up enough to function properly. Now i'm also certain that i read that its possible to convert to a 3 wire, which is self heating, to use with the free flowing exhaust. Does anyone have the link where the installation was detailed?
also, i'm plannin on going with a power adder to compliment my upcoming rebuild (either turbo or N2O, though i'm leanin towards turbo). Will i need to do this with a power adder seein that EGT's should be higher than NA?
Another question... if i do convert over to the 3 wire, does anyone have a part number for those sensors or at least be able to tell me the normal operating voltages for the factory O2?
One final question.. i'm considering doing a MegaSquirters install with a wideband input (since tuning is non existant for my engine). Are widebands a 3 wire setup as well, or are they something else like a 4 wire? If they are, what are the extra wires for?
sorry for askin a lot and thanks for all the info.
