I was wondering if the black paint on the headers(pacesetter) holds up well after time. I'm guessing not but should i strip the paint and wrap the headers in some hi-heat wrap? i figured i was going to wrap them anyway for the engine bay since they aren't ceramic.

Yes, the paint will not last long at all.
