  • I need help, Borla Exhaust

Hey everyone I just got my Camaro in December of 04 and as im sure many of you can understand, have become quite obsessed. Im looking at getting an exhaust for my car but really am clueless when it comes to cars. I intend to gain more knowledge about it from having my car but we'll see how that goes. I wanted to know what some people thought of the Borla Cat back system for MY 2000 3.8. Its definitly the most expensive exhaust I have found but I dont know wheather it will be worth the extra cash. I really want a throaty sound but when I asked a few of my friends they said it wouldnt get to be too loud because it is only a V6. If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. If you know the best cat-back or custom exhaust setup please let me know. My E-mail is JCamaro3800@yahoo.com. Thanks. Peace.

hey, i have a magnaflow exhaust cat back, and my friend has a flowmaster exhaust, ill tell u one thing magnaflow sounds pretty good under load no matter how much gas u give it. not that throaty though. the flowmaster sounds identical to a V8 when starting it and at idle, but when u hit about 3000 RPM it sounds like noise there is no growl it sounds like cans are banging together real loud because it is too open for our cars. Hope that helped man, i wouldnt invest in a borla too much$$$
