  • JC Whitney Pacesetter update

I had the same problem Ted did. I ordered a set of Pacesetter ceramic coated headers from jcw.com, waited a month, and they sent me the wrong ones.

Well, I talked to them on the phone today, and they said that they do NOT carry the ceramic coated pacesetters for the 3.8L f-bodies. They only carry the black painted, jcw part # 49ZX4612A, for $220.

If you call them, or use their site, it/they will give you part number 94ZX9204WF for the ceramic coated, but they will not fit our cars.

They don't have any headers for the 3.8L listed anywhere on their site.

Yep, thoes are the wrong ones. The description is correct, but the product they send you is wrong.

Ah! Their stupid parts selection guide doesn't list half the parts for the Firebird as they do the Camaro.

Hey billy did you have to wait another half a month to get your re-shipping label in the mail? I'll tell you they are the slowest company I have ever dealt with.

I think I waited about a week and a half or so for the return shipping label. Cheap bastards didn't pay to have them picked up from my house either. I had to take time to drive down to FedEx to help fix their mistake.

I had to call jcw twice before they actually sent out the return slip. I will never buy anything from them again.
