• It's not any louder?

Ok, I just installed rksport headers. Like everyone said the gaskets blew out, and I am going to weld them instead, rather then trying the copper one's. (due to what stephan wrote about them) I went and got the exhaust welded back together, and now the car is back to exactly how it sounded ... if not more quite! I kept reading how it improved the sound, but it doesn't seem to have done that for me?

Also, there is a knocking sound (not the leak) when I get on it a little, and also I feel it when I turn sharp to the right. This was not there before. Any ideas on what this is, and why the sound didn't change?

    Please any suggestions?

Maybe your exhaust is knocking on something? Check the clearance around your exhaust pipe, and look for anyplace that might looks like its hitting against.

Thank you for replying offering help. I will have to check that, but if that were it, wouldn't I feel it more often then just when I do? You never know though, so I will check.

Any ideas on the quiter exhaust?

As for the knocking, some things are always there, you may have not noticed it. Now you are looking for wierd sounds, because of the new install, you may be just hearing a pre existing sound. My point being, do rule out every that doesn't invovlve the new headers, could be something totally unrelated.

Nah, this is very much noticeable. I definitly would have noticed this before, so I'm pretty sure it's with the headers. I just need to find out what
