Wussup guys I have a 2001 V6 Camaro, me and my friend traded mufflers I had a magnaflow and he had a Loudmouth. The muffler shop didn't have mandrel pipes in stock so he ended up using his 3" pipes leaving me with my 2.5 (my stock pipes)" Since his resonator was 3" the muffler shop couldn't use it so I ended up just having a straight pipe all the way to my tailpipes which goes out to the SLP dual/dual.
It sounds great and my friend said it sounds like a V8 and he has a 2000 SS Camaro. Its sounds mean but is a little too loud, if I install a chambered muffler from sweet-thunder.com or bullet muffler would it quiet it down a bit? Should I change my pipes to 3" and then order a 3" chambered muffler or bullet muffler? Or should I just keep the pipes I have now and buy a 2.5" chambered muffler or bullet muffler? It would be cheaper if I stuck with my pipes now and just purchased one of the mufflers, but what do you guys think?
What would be better, chambered muffler from sweet-thunder.com or buying a bullet muffler? If you guys pick bullet muffler, which one should I get?
