• Disappointed Part II

There is now definately a papery, raspy sound during low rpms. I noticed it before but could barely hear it, now its gotten louder-including a recent rattle rat tat tat. I think the leak is why I was disappointed (it also smoothed out that gurlge/growl) since I did like the sound when I first got it on.

Plus, I've decided to go ahead with a catco high flow. And since I've heard some shops don't like messing with a healthy cat I'm going to ask if my dad can do it. Hopefully that will waken the sound up. Has anyone changed to a High flo cat with the B&B triflow? or will I be the first?

Also, as i mentioned before, intake. The lid and cai. I rather do the intake first.
I KNOW that I can get this car to sound good. Not like a V8, esp up top, but like a nice v6 . It already sound great at idle and low rpms (before the rasp came in).

Let me know how it sounds with the catco, because I have the triflow also and am planning on installing one. (That is, if I don't already have a high flow cat, because whoever had the car before me, did a lot of mods. I keep finding things on it.)

I thought you knew your exhaust won't sound good without the whisper lid.

I guess I didn't know how much of a difference it would make. I hear more about the performance gains of the lid and intake than I do the sound; the added tone must be underrated then. But I knew it deepens it a little.

This is the first time that i've considered changing the cat. Mainly because my previous exhaust was the 40 series and a few people have said they liked the sound before the hi flow cat. But I think the triflow will be different. In other words: I haven 't done much research and have to find out a few things but don't worry I'll give my report on it (intake will be first of course)

I have the Triflo and plan on putting pacesetters in soon and a catco along with that. I'm gonna try the SuperIntake at ftforce.com and I'm hoping thats gonna sound real good.
