3" pipe=burnt exhaust valves?

This topic was coverd a few days ago. Then closed but Im not sure why. I just wanted to comment and say that I had a 89 Camaro, with no exhaust, it was running streight out of the cat converter. I never had any valve problems what so ever. I ran it like that for about 1 year and a half.

i didn't think it was to lame. my valves started to leak shortly after i got my high-flow cat and 3" exhaust. i was interesting in other peoples opinions. i saw that it was closed and just moved on, no biggie.

Basically the only way this would happen would be to run open headers on a daily basis. Which it someone does that then they are most likely deaf and have about 50 noise popution tickets in their glove box.

So please don't dig this back up.

So switching to 3 inch exhaust does not cause burn values!
