• S-Pipe with cat-back

I've wanted to get a flowmaster catback and a hi-flow cat for my car, but am now seeing deals on ebay for a magnaflow catback, hi-flow cat, and free shipping for $390. I like this a lot since it will save time getting everything and I like the fact that the magnaflow comes with an s-pipe. Does the flowmaster catback come with an s-pipe? If not, I think I am sold on one of these deals on ebay.

Flowmaster does NOT come with the S-pipe.

Make sure you order either the v6 or LT1 version. The 3" LS1 exhaust does not have the S-pipe.

Just as a note for the Magnaflow systems be sure and get the LT-1 kit that is made for the 93-97. I ordered my kit yesterday for my 99 and mistakenly ordered the kit for the 98-02 LT-1. Luckily I caught the error in time and the seller was able to make the exchange. The 93-97 LT-1 3" kits have the s-pipe, whereas the 98-02 kit has none. According to Magnaflow tech support the mid-pipe (that leads up to the s-pipe) is also different between the two kits.

The correct Magnaflow part number for the 3" exhaust that includes the s-pipe is 15620.

I purchased my system for 375.00 including shipping off of E-Bay. The deals are there if you simply look for them. With the Dynomax bullet from Summitt the whole catback system came to just around 420. Just be patient and do your research.

I know a shop that quoted me $400 for full exhaust, high flow cat, and flowmaster dual out. If anyone is in the chicagoland/Northwest Indiana area, I could point them out to you.

I had a magnaflow but recently just replaced it with a loudmouth catback and I think its so much better then my magna's. Noticed more gain and the loudmouth give the exhaust that V8 sound.

no special modification requierd with the magnaflow 15620. request the cat that comes with a rear o2 sensor boss as well...otherwise you will have to have one welded into the new s pipe.

(magnaflow/carsound universal 12” oval 3”x3” no air tube #94039…not for California)

Just figure out whether or not you need an air tube...my 2001 A4 does not need air tube.

Hey armyman this is what is sounds like to have a catback without a muffler.

Thats with my Loudmouth without a resonator or muffler. Just 3" pipings from my cat going out to 2.5" tailpipes. I also have mid-tube headers and high flow cat as well. Oh yeah and CAI with K&N Filter.
