magnaflow or flowmaster

i already have a flowmaster catback on my 3.4,but would it be louder if i got a magnaflow catback and hi flow catback instead??? would it sound alot different??

I havent gotten my exhaust done yet because I cant decide which will sound the best. Can I have your opinion?

I got a American thunder cat-back(2.5 in) with high flow cat and i think it sounds awesome. It comes with that resonator so it doesnt get to raspy for me.

I was listining to the audio clips and the loudmouth sounded like a diesel truck. Is that true or are my speakers jacked up?

same here camarocrzy i have the system withte resonator and i had a friend who had it wit hjsut the muffler and in the high rpm it was rasy and almost like pop. i think flomast is the best bang for your buck espcially if u get the resonator one but basically u get what you pay for borla and slp are going to sound better but cost more especially borla i havnt really her the magnaflow this kid at gian hasa 97 3.8 with it and my other friend who i was talking about who jsut had the muffler got rid of his and got a z28

This is the cat back system for your car. The 3.8l is an odd fire engine so
a resonator is required to give it that mellow Flowmaster sound.

i had both and i like the magnaflow duals alot better than the flowmaster and i dont think it has that fart sound in the high rpms

I have the American Thunder setup too and I think it sounds great under 3000RPM, after that it sounds like a cool 6 cylinder. At higher RPM's our cars sound like what they are, still sounds good to me. However your car would sound even better, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the 3.4 is an even firing 6.
